Account Manager 

Job Title: Account Manager, Aviation Operations (Air Charter)

As an Account Manager, your primary responsibilities are to work with high-profile clients in need of private jet transportation, matching them with the appropriate aircraft owned by our vendors. Every sale involves customized pricing and logistical coordination.  Success is achieved through developing and maintaining strong relationships with colleagues, air carriers, and vendors to deliver a flawless air charter experience to our customers.  The majority of customers you would be working with are professional and collegiate sports teams, famous athletes, celebrities, corporations, government entities, and high net worth individuals.

Duties:

  • Sustain, nurture, and build client and vendor relationships

  • Source new bids, opportunities, and leads in various markets

  • Provide internal operational support by entering trip and pricing data as well as flight following and completing client briefings

  • Self-direction, time management, and the ability to turn data around quickly without sacrificing accuracy is a must.

 

Requirements:

  • Work experience in areas such as travel, air charter operations, airport operations, flight dispatch, air charter brokerage is strongly preferred

  • Ability to work independently with little oversight is critical

  • This position requires high level of communication via phone and email – you must feel comfortable talking and communicating with customers and vendors and demonstrate confidence, tenacity, friendliness, and professionalism

  • Great organizational skills and ability to multitask. Timely data entry and management of information residing in CMS is critical

  • Excellent communication skills, including spelling and grammar, all documents (including contracts and invoices) must be accurate and error-free

  • Off-hours monitoring of flights on a rotating basis (Duty Officer)

  • Self-confidence and ability to work independently with little supervision is essential

  • Experience with Microsoft office products

Business Development Administrator


Air Planning is seeking a Business Development Administrator.  Our company services customers in need of private air charter transportation globally, matching their needs with the appropriate aircraft, while providing single point of contact, high-touch client services at every step of the way. Our boutique brand and dynamic team have set the standard for private jet services for over twenty years.

Our clients include professional and collegiate sports teams, corporations, government entities, travel agents and high net worth individuals. Our customers come from diverse markets, including sports, entertainment, finance, and the public sector. The perfect fit will be honest, fun, positive, outgoing, energetic and excited. The primary focus of this role will be providing administrative support for our sales staff. Will also include some business development outreach to set up our sales staff which may include lead generation efforts such as cold calls, email campaigns, targeting key markets/prospects with warm outreach.

This position is based at our Salem, NH location.

The Skills

-  Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-  Capable of thriving at a small, hands-on boutique with other highly-skilled professionals
-  Ability to work in a team of 5-10 employees and meet outreach and lead generation targets
-  Self-starter that can execute plans under the supervision of VP of Business Development and sales staff
-  Manage and monitor personal output, adjusting as required to achieve targets.
-  Build marketing bulk emails and execute cold email outreach campaigns.
-  Manage your own tasks and your teams tasks to assigned deadlines.

-  Collaborate with our Client Services team for administrative support, as needed.


The Requirements and Preferences

-  1 year of business development, marketing, or sales experience preferred but not required.
-  Air charter industry experience is not required
-  Minimum of Associates Degree required
-  Familiar with utilizing CRMs for tracking outreach efforts, monitoring activity and progress with clients, tracking pipelines, and marketing, is a preferred.
-  Knowledge of platforms such as ZoomInfo/Seamless.ai, LinkedIn, Constant Contact, Saleshandy preferred
-  Experience with using Microsoft Office products, especially Excel
-  Humor with humility, tenacious but fun collaborator
